Day breakdown:
0730-0810: Took photos of the torii gate during low tide.
1040: check out of hotel room
1040-1125: Hubby tried grilled oysters & I had ice-cream before leaving Miyajima
1125-1140: Ferry ride from Miyajima to Miyajimaguchi.
1203-1230: Train ride from Miyajimaguchi to Hiroshima
1245: Deposited our bags at our hotel
1325-1400: Lunch at Hiroshima station
1400-1420: Tram ride from Hiroshima train station to Atomic Bomb Dome tram stop.
1420-1520: Strolled around & taking photos of the Atomic Bomb Dome & Peace Park.
1520-1640: Peace Memorial Museum
1655-1715: Had iced choc drink at cafe
1715-1930: Walked around, and had Okonomiyaki at Okonomi-mura
1940-2000: Took tram back to Hiroshima station
2010-2045: Dinner at Hiroshima station.
2100 onwards: Dozed off while watching Harry Potter in Japanese on TV in our room.

| Just 1 street away from the Atomic Bomb Dome...is the exact spot where the bomb actually landed. The brown plaque marks the spot. The building is now a hospital. |
