Japan 2016 (Oct)

Recently bought our air tickets (via a promo from Singapore Airline's website) to Tokyo.

Itinerary is currently still tentative, since I'm still trying to do some research on some of the places.

Day 1: Arrival Tokyo. Stay Tokyo

    Would like to ask; amidst all these travelling from point to point. Do you check in hotel first or lug your luggage around to sightsee? Thank you.

    1. either deposit luggage at train station's lockers (if my hotel is not near the places I'll be visiting for the day), or will deposit luggage at the hotel's reception if the time is before the hotel's check-in time (usually around 3pm).
      Major train stations in Japan (Tokyo, Shinagawa, Ueno, Shinjuku, Osaka, Shin-Osaka, Kyoto, Nagoya...etc...) will have large lockers that's big enough for my luggage (usually costs around 500-700yen for large sized lockers).

  2. Hi, just want to ask something. I saw that you arrived Tokyo first. What address did you write on your immigration card? Was it just one address, your hotel in Tokyo?

    1. I usually write the hotel name of the first hotel I will be staying when I reach japan.
