The thing that we really liked about not participating in Group tours is the flexibility of it. Me and hubby likes to explore off the major touristy traffic. So after we are done with Sensoji Temple, instead of walking back along the crowded street of Nakamise shopping street, we walked down a much less crowded street in search of lunch.

Apparently this shop is very popular for their Tempura prawns and there's always a long queue outside. |

Spot the fake guy at the rooftop |
While having our lunch at this shop, we experienced earthquake. The sliding doors were opening and shutting, our cutleries were vibrating. Since the other customers simply looked around and talked amongst themselves and continued eating, so I guessed it wasn't anything major so we continued to eat as well. It lasted for maybe 30seconds.

Hubby: I spot Donuts... |
|
Very Cute (Kawaii) packaging from Mister Donut. |
Personally, I prefer the donuts from Krispy Kreme than Mister Donut in Tokyo. If you see a Krispy Kreme outlet, remember to give it a try and you'll know what I mean. :)
